Recycle, Recycle, Recycle!!!
The Residential Recycling Incentive Program (RRIP) is a public awareness and education campaign designed in partnership with the City of Plano and the elementary schools in PISD. The program provides schools/PTA groups with the opportunity to earn a monetary award of up to $1,000 by increasing the volume of materials recycled curbside in the neighborhoods served by their school. The City of Plano will track the monthly tonnage of curbside recycled materials for each zone and compare it to their established residential recycling baseline rate. The schools with the highest percentage rate increase will qualify for the awards. This means we must continue to recycle more both at home and at school. All you have to do is RECYCLE!!! Tell your neighbors to do the same. You can help the environment and Wells by doing so.
